Congrats on being approved to adopt a pet

As the adopter, I/we agree: 1) To have the animal spayed or neutered (if not already completed), to have the animal vaccinated yearly, and to comply with all laws concerning the keeping of a pet. 2) To PAWS if I am unable to have the animal spayed/neutered by the above date. 3) To provide adequate food, daily water, shelter, exercise, medical care, and to care for the animal in a devoted and humane manner for the remainder of its natural life. PAWS guarantees the health of the animal for 96 hours from the date of adoption. Please have your animal examined by a licensed veterinarian as soon as possible. 4) To not allow the animal to be used for biomedical research, experimentation, or breeding. 5) To return the animal to PAWS if I/we no longer desire or are unable to keep the animal. To not sell, trade, give away, or abandon the animal. If the animal is lost or stolen, I/we shall make every effort to recover the animal. 6) To allow PAWS at any time during the period of one year from the date of this contract to investigate the premises where the animal is kept and to reclaim the animal if, in the judgment of the investigator, the animal is not being adequately cared for and if I/we have misrepresented any facts. 7) To pay all costs necessary to enforce this contract, including, but not limited to reasonable attorney's fees and all costs of litigation.
