These babies are not yet available as they are way too tiny. We still have concerns that they might not all survive. ![]()
Folks, we can’t adopt our way out of a domestic animal overpopulation. There are more animals that need homes than places to put them. Irresponsible pet owners continue to not spay and neuter and we are left to clean up the mess. The reality is there is more mess than we can ever clean and pets are left to starve, suffer and die. ![]()
We are drowning. Do your part. Be responsible. Spay, neuter, vaccinate and use preventatives. If you can’t do that, don’t get a pet.

A day that was a long time coming. So many obstacles, challenges and downright emergencies with this mama and her litter but this afternoon we picked all of them up and delivered to 5 adoptive homes and 7 foster homes. It absolutely was a day of gratitude and celebration. ![]()
Thank you to every single person that has donated to the care of mama and her babies.![]()
It took 4 adults, 3 vehicles and several hours to get everyone where they needed to go. Special thanks to Wendy Wilson, Dave and Deb Brink for helping with the transport of the puppies. ![]()
We welcomed some really wonderful people into our PAWS family today.![]()

Bess is wondering why she hasn’t found a home yet. She was just a baby herself when she had 9 puppies. Then she was put outside with them in the middle of December when they were only 2 weeks old. They only had a cardboard box for shelter, this mama fought to keep her tiny family warm and alive. All the puppies have long been adopted and mama is still waiting. ![]()
This girl is housebroken, she will even bark to let you know she needs to go out. She does not need to be crated when left, she can be trusted alone in the house. She’s fine with other dogs, cats unknown. She’s done great with kids. Shes a huge fan of toys, especially stuffed squeaky ones. She loves to curl up by you, on the sofa, and the bed. Bess is a bit noise sensitive. Unfamiliar sounds and noises can unnerve her and she will cower. ![]()
Bess is a jumper, we are working on that but most of all she just wants your love and attention. She deserves that after all she’s been through. ![]()
Potential adopters with other dogs must have them spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and on prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworm disease. A history of regular wellness exams is required.![]()
To apply click the link in the comments below. Bess is completely vetted and can go anywhere. Please, please share!
